We are proud to announce that today, 2nd July 2018, we are launching our new research division here at Fight Bladder Cancer.
The team is headed up by Dr Haley Dash and supported by Josephine Elliot and our Medical Advisory Panel.
Having spent a number of years in NHS pathology, Hayley went on to gain a PhD in medical diagnostics & devices. She has been involved in the number of large scale clinical trials in both the private & public sectors in mental health, cardio respiratory and oncology.
Hayley has worked closely with a number pharmaceutical companies in clinical trial project management as well as engaging directly with NHS trial patients & their families. Hayley has an a strong interest in NHS service evaluation & delivery, particularly from the patient & wider support network perspective.
Andrew Winterbottom, Founder and CEO of Fight Bladder Cancer, announcing the new initiative explained “Hayley has a great understanding of the workings of the NHS and will provide a professional lead to all of FBC’s research projects and studies. The research division will coordinate all of our own studies and lead for FBC on research work when we partner with other organisations.
The FBC Research Division will initially work to progress the FBC Exemplar Study, develop further patient experience surveys and support FBC’s involvement in ongoing clinical trials.
